Guinmaayohan
Barangay Guinmaayohan is one of the barangays of Balangiga created under Republic Act No. 3590, dated June 22, 1963. It is 13 kilometers away from the Poblacion. It is the remotest barangay next to Maybunga. Unlike Maybunga, however, it is accessible by land transportation through the provincial road. Motorcycles ply the route. Other vehicles cannot pass through the road due to its dilapidation.
Guinmaayohan has a land area of 4,898 hectares. Fifty percent of this area constitutes forest lands, 30 percent is used for agriculture, and the rest are open spaces and built-up areas. The topography combines plain, hilly and mountainous terrain. The feast day is June 15. This far flung barangay got its name from the creek surrounding it, named Guinmaayohan which in English means .place of something good . Jose Castro was the first recognized leader of the barangay.
